When you stake ETH with Puffer, you receive pufETH, a liquid restaking
token that earns rewards from both Ethereum's Proof of Stake validation (L1) and
additional native restaking rewards on platforms like EigenLayer.
What's pufETH?
pufETH is a yield-bearing token representing staked ETH on Puffer. Its
rewards come from Ethereum's native staking and AVS restaking on EigenLayer,
offering higher yields than traditional LSTs. As a liquid token, pufETH can be used
across DeFi.
How can I earn CARROT rewards?
CARROT tokens are tokenized Puffer points. You can earn them by for
example:
Staking ETH to mint and hold pufETH
Providing pufETH liquidity to integrated DeFi protocols, etc.
How can I get pufETH?
You can mint pufETH by staking ETH, stETH, or wstETH or swap for
it on DEXs like Curve, Uniswap, or Balancer.
Why do I receive less pufETH than ETH staked?
pufETH is auto-compounding, meaning its value increases over time.
Instead of receiving separate rewards, your pufETH balance grows in value as yields
accumulate.
What are the risks of staking with Puffer?
Our smart contracts have undergone multiple audits and extensive testing
to ensure security. However, interacting with Ethereum smart contracts always
carries some risk. To minimize this, we continuously audit and monitor our contracts
using both automated systems and manual oversight. Security measures are regularly
updated to address potential vulnerabilities.
